DAVENPORT BOAT & MARINE has been in business since 1974. We have been in our present location at 1414 S. Stark Street since 1985. We are located just a block North off of Highway 61 across from Courtesy (River City) Ford in Southwest Davenport.

Davenport Boat and Marine now has a new name, Davenport Boat Inc. as a result of being purchased by new owners. Bob and his wife Chris have purchased Davenport Boat and Marine from Don and Vicky as of January 1, 2012.  Bob, has been a mechanic and boat rigger at Davenport Boat and Marine for the last 20 years and is excited to finally realize his lifelong goal of owning a dealership. Bob purchased his first boat with help of family, mainly his mom, who loved to fish, before he had a driver’s license. Bob still spends his free time on the water or in a tree stand in the area when not spending time with family. He is also an Evinrude Master Technician, Mercury Certified Technician and Honda factory trained technician and is devoted to keeping up with the new technology that the marine industry unveils each year. Doug has been with Davenport Boat and Marine for over 30 years as the Service Manager/parts counter person and salesman, will be staying at the dealership to help oversee daily operations. Doug likes to spend his free time at the local pistol range or playing guitar when he’s not spending time with his family. He is an Evinrude Master Technician and is Honda factory trained.  With over fifty years of combined Marine dealership experience behind us our new goal at Davenport Boat Inc. is CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Our fully equipped service department can service and maintain all makes and models of Outboards and Stern Drives.

We have 2 Evinrude Master Technicians on staff.  They are also Honda factory trained, and 1 is a Mercury Marine Certified Technician.
